There also tax credits for solar and wind power, and a very expensive requirement that health insurance companies cover mental health the same way they cover physical health.

But remember, this is only about preventing an economic cataclysm. So you must support it!

By the way, you’re also footing the bill for another $612 billion to fight Bush’s wars.

The US Senate easily passes Paulson/ Bernanke bailout bill authorizing national socialism in America’s financial markets. Tonight’s vote for dictatorial control of the financial markets clears the way for The White House, the Senate and world banking elite to apply additional pressure on the House of Representatives.

Senators prior to the vote made speeches on the House floor explaining why the voice of the American people should be ignored.

Senator Richard Luger’s office says 95% of callers against bill, Luger votes yea anyways.

Senator Diane Feinstein says she has received 85,000 calls against bailout but will ignore the stupid ill-informed people in her state.

Senator Lyndsey Graham explains how he learned everything he needs to know in his dad’s liquor store and all Senators should ignore their constituents concerns and vote for the bank bailout bill. Then he added, “It’s not about investment banks, it’s about investment banks.” (Not making this up he really said it.)

Senator Barack Obama says passing this bill will, “not solve our problems” but supports it’s passage anyway.

Senator Mitch McConnell is “proud” to pass this bill. Calls it the “Senates finest moment.”

Senator Harry Reid claims his office is flooded with calls and letters urging him to pass the Wall Street bailout. Reid then goes on to infer passing this bill will reinflate the real estate bubble. He says the Senate would rather spend this money to rebuild America’s infrastructure but that will have to wait.

Editors Note: This violation of the public trust is a clear indication that the people in Washington intend to do as they please without any regard to the welfare of the nation or the voice of the People.

Jim Rogers on the bailout. “Why should 300 million Americans bailout a few thousand people in the financial community. I don’t understand this. Taxes will go up, interest will go up, inflation will go up, the US dollar will go down.”

Rogers says not passing the bill will allow the economy to clean out the system quickly providing a fresh start.

Jim explains to the media talking heads on Bloomberg News that history is clear, these types of government interventions always fail and lead to long term financial chaos. He predicts a decade of depression and hyperinflation if the US Senate passes the Paulson 700 billion bailout plan.

He also said this:
Paulson and Bernanke have gone under oath every two months for the last two years telling Congress the economy is ok. Jim Rogers asks why would anyone listen to Paulson and Bernanke now.
