Ive noticed lately that there has been a few references in threads related to intelligence.

This is a subject i have covered before on another site, but i thought it would be nice to hear new opinions.

To me, intelligence means u have knowledge of certain subjects, whether that be academic, or practical.

Often, i get the impression some ppl think that to be intelligent, u must have a good education and a degree. I dont think like that, i think that a person can have a lot of knowledge about life/relationships/people and can acquire it thru experiences in life, and not neccessarily thru academic inclination.

Then that leads me to think....which 1 is more valuable when it comes to having a good quality of life? Academic knowledge, or experience gained knowledge?

Emotional intelligence, experiencial intelligence, instinctual intelligence and IQ are all very different things.... articulating what one wants to share is highly important...but KNOWING who one is, and their place in this world is worth everything to me.
