Topic: this has been a hell of a week

i have been accepted to college, and i went for my finacial aid today. i qualified for a good grant, and will have a nice loan to go with it. close to the end of the meeting, i found out that i qualify for a scholarship. and im getting a laptop for school, from the school. i am so not used to getting things going my way, i feel great about the new future that i am working on. i want to thank everyone for their support and caring that has been shown.

my associates degree will be for computer network systems, and my ba will be for internet security.

Congratulations. It always makes my day to see someone getting a good break and feeling stoked. Also great to see that someone is getting something from our system that will help them. I've been a programmer and electronics/computer tech over 35 years and never got a thing that I didn't have to do for myself. Really happy for you.

Congrats my good man. Hope it works out and you actually apply it.... I have a degree in Business Computer Science...yet I did far more art work for my teachers than real work (My degree means diddly to me cause I got credit for side work...I used to paint for the Museum of Natural History) Pc is big business....hit it like you mean it and I am sure that you will do well for yourself. steve.. good things come to those that deserve it the most.. im so happy for you... congrats! and best of luck in all those obsticales that are still to come your way.. i know that you will face them head on.. and persevere!
