I got an email from someone asking if I was available for dating... It states right in my profile I am looking for friendship only. So I told him no, I am in a relationship, just looking for friends. He comes back with how it's wrong for me to be on this site if I'm not single... I don't think it's wrong as long as I am not cheating or "keeping one eye open". I enjoy the forums and I have made lots of really great friends on here.

I think the same thing. I enjoy the forums and watching and reading what people write or how they express themselves.

I don't know why that is. But I do know that the site provides various options to designate what you're looking for -- and as long as those options are available, no one should give you a hard time about which one you select. I would block him. And report him if he bothers you again. |

I've had that happen too, even tho I have said Im looking for friends only, oh well, I guess they can't read ENGLISH!

I mean for cryin out loud it's not like I deceived him in anyway. I just thought it was rude to come back with "it's wrong that you're here then" lol well excuse me for having a bf that actually likes me to have friends and a life.

there is nothing wrong with you being on here if you are up front about what you want. He was just pissed he didn't get his way, don't let it bug you. Just be true to yourself.

I think my tagline of "Applcations no longer being accepted" sums it up pretty well, and to be honest, women respect that. Even if they do initiate an email first, they always come at me as a friend, or along those lines.
Sad to say, guys just don't read profiles. Most guys don't anyways. Women do...which is why they know Goof is taken. |
