Here is my first one:

(15) Jesus said, "When you see one who was not born of woman, prostrate
yourselves on your faces and worship him. That one is your father."

My take - the angels of the bible were not born of woman. So either
there are no angels, or we will never see them. If there are no true
angelic beings than there is no satan. Anyone else?

I would say that quote refers to Adam. And Jesus is implying that he is
the fullfillment of Adam's promise.

I'd also add that angels are considered 2nd rate citizens in the
heavenly realm of things. God is #1, People are #2, and angels are #3.
Afterall, they can not create life, and they can only 'take' life when
explcitly ordered by God. Sucks to be an angel.

forth from yourselves. That which you do not have within you will kill
you if you do not have it within you."'

I think he's referring to love-for-your-fellow-man.

Mike, nice to hear from you. C O O L! didn't thik of it that way.
But why would we prostrate ourselves to Adam and not to first father of
our natural birth? And if the father referred to is Adam, why would Eve
have been left out or less important. Unless - it's because at the time
Jew's believed that the man's sperm were actually the babies and woman
was only the recepticle.
mmm - just think out loud as it were.

You consider that which is inside and brought forth as love. I
originally thought it to be that which the Bible call the Holy Spirit,
but did not know why I thought that, until your responce. It would make
sence to me now as the spirit each of us is supposed to have been
endowed is that piece of God that IS love.

very interesting......Redyk and Mike, you guys both are pretty sharp,
Redyk I really liked your take on [70]. I think [15] is Jesus telling
them about THE FATHER, I don't really see it any other way. It's an
interesting topic to discuss but why don't we use the bible instead of
"translated" old writings. Even if the writings were authentic and not
perverted in some way or the other, the translaters that get a hold of
old documents like that are usually anti-god, and are trying to prove
christianity a false faith. I have read many of the "old christian
writings" ,all very interesting. But I personally do not put any trust
in there validity.
