It's so nice to have power again! Something I once took for granted. Wow after several weeks without in Texas heat one is sure appreciative to have it! Thank God hurricane Ike is gone and things are starting to get back to normal!

I know what you mean on several occasions I have been without power. You learn to make the best out of the situation.

I hear ya... Although, it was nice to have some fresh/crisp air... the first week wasn't to bad....the second was terrible....I suffered from a loss of blood due to mesquito bites lol |

No power stinks
Last winter we had a bad ice storm that damaged much of OKC..no power for days. heat was from fireplace and gas stove top. got down to 48 degrees in my house and none to cuddle with. |

Somehow my side of the street had power after that ice storm but the other side of the street didn't. |
