Am I the only one who thinks the new album sucks??? I mean it is better than the St. Anger Album, but I think they lost their edge..Kirk Hammett is still hammering out awesome guitar solo's..but James Hetfield's voice is driving me nuts...

i did like the S & M album, for a few songs atleast, but they've pretty much sold out, and should have followed the guy from The Foo Fighters advice and not released it till it didn't suck.

Yea, it seems like their were trying to please ALL their fans..its to wishywashy...No songs, with great hooks, catchy melodies..damn it, I was hoping for better..What happend to songs like One, Master of Puppets, Welcome Home Sanatarium, Orion, Fade to black..gosh that was the ****;) |

I have listened to it a couple of times. All in all..it's not bad, but I think that it will be one of those albums that there will be no gray area for. You'll either love it or hate it.
You're right though. There are no songs that have a real hook to them. |

I like the album, but it is not nearly as good as their old stuff. I do really like "All Nightmare Long" and "Judas Kiss"

haha I thought they turned into a pop band after Master of Puppets What?!!  "...Justice" is a fantastic album (despite the distince lack of bass guitar). I agree they became cheesy pop-rock after that.
