Jim, I once got blasted on open forum and in emails...cause my profile and only my profile said: I am friends with all, but NO COUGARS PLEASE! Now why would a woman read that and then get p!ssed and post about it. Its my Preferrence. Did I hurt them...no....But I was called shallow and an arrogant prik. Exactly, and thats not fair at all. In retrospect they did not respect you at all....So they were the arrogant one

I'm a fat chick and I do actually see both sides of this. There really is no point having only pictures that accentuate the positives and never showing any others, because eventually that would appear to be deceitful.
However, maybe some people choose to show other full body pics later on in a more private setting. You can't really dictate the choice a person makes. It's their profile, they can put whatever the heck they want on there. You don't see what you like, you move on. |

There is a very simple formula here... If your big? Say it If your small? Say it It's obvious when you show headshots only... I respect those like Izzie, she is an awesome woman and has a great man. She is genuine...Just like Deb is...there is nothing to hide there. THose can be my best of friends!!!  You will always be a fiend Liz

Back when I was on the market and looking it was important to me too. Saying you'd like a whole view isn't shallow..its being cautious. The internet can be a scary place, and people do lie. If you plan to go to great lengths to meet someone (esp. LDR) you want to KNOW who you are meeting. No surprizes (not just physical attributes). My 2 cents & a potato chip. |

Yep, you've got full body pics, I just checked. You're right, if you start dating someone, they'll obviously be able to tell what your body type is. The pics on people's profiles tell me a lot more important things than their shape though
