Does anyone else do this or am I just sadistic?
I sit, and listen to a radio station that plays only love songs, with no special one in my life, and just wish, and cry....and it hurts. why do I torture myself??? Am I the only one??? |

No, your not alone. But I try to avoid it.
Listen to NPR alot instead. But every now and then I'll hear that song and go out and buy the cd. Like that 70's base sound in Glen Campbell's music, and others too. Chicago, Boz Scaggs, Bread. Some sappy love songs there.!! |

I just listen to Audiovisions New age on XM radio and remember when I used to be able to get stoned and listen to it!!!!
No worries then!!!! Guess I've been so burned by my ex that I'm just enjoying being with anyone that doesn't have a negative attitude towards life!!! OR......just by myself!!! I can always find something constructive to do!!! |

I use to do that a lot when I was young an innocent, couldnt wait til I was old enough to find love.
Havent done it since, that is until... I found love and had my heart broke and then I did it again but this time it wasnt AirSupply. I think both times I liked the pain to an extent and the romanticism of it all. I say listen and be romantic then stand up, become enpowered and hunt down a fine man and make him yours. You appear more than capable. |
