There have been emails flying between my ex and the magistrate about changing the paperwork, and I haven't answered to any of it, finally the magistrate said "do you have any thoughts on the proposed changes?"

My answer was

"Change Cuyahoga County to Summit County as that is where we live, he has talked himself into and out of every change, there isn't much need for me to get involved is there? If he wants this divorce he will sign the papers right quick, before I change my mind and take him to the cleaners."

She wrote back.

"Vince, this would be a good idea for you to sign now."

Ya know, when my ex told me she didn't want to hire lawyers and that she felt we could handle our divorce ourselves, I moved quickly to get all the papers from the courthouse and get the ball rolling.laugh

I've seen Gone Baby Gone. It's pretty good, but it does get a tad bit predictable. Michelle Monaghan is drool drool drool drool

Am I going to need to call Lily after I watch it for some girl on girl?

I can marry you, I'm licensed to do so...

But I bet he said NOOOOOOO. tears

Honestly -- having been married once -- and I could tell you some stories about that one....

But if ever I would make an exception to the rule, Lilith, you would be the one....!

You really do get the whole unicorn thing -- and, truth to tell, I do sometimes post things with the hope that you'll see them -- because there's stuff in there that probably only you would catch --

oops

Sorry for hijacking!

Nah. But you will find yourself wondering when Ed Harris got so old looking.

Ed Harris... Hmmm. I call attractive men who don't seem attractive at first glance as having the Ed Harris factor. What will I do now? sad

I don't know if I've ever told this one here.

When I was married, my mother-in-law was an avid member of a Pentecostal church in Gary, Indiana. It wasn't even really a church, per se -- it was an old house where the walls had been removed, they brought in some folding chairs and a PA system, and about 30 or 40 people would show up for "services."

I went once with my wife, just to check it out. People were having seizures all over the place, wriggling on the floor, shouting out gibberish, the whole 666 yards.

Well, my wife tells me one day that her mom had to change her route driving to church and back. So I ask her why, and she says, "Because the Angel of Death is hovering over her car every time she drives down that one street."

OK....

Now, I have driven on that street a bunch of times. And I have never seen the Angel of Death there. Tarzan, yes; the Hulk, once; but never the Angel of Death.

There's more, but you get the picture....

Wow....

Loved the 666 reference! That sounds like quite the entertaining morning. Were you aware you were marrying a delusion woman?

When I lived in Pensacola, Fl., we had this revival in town at Brownsville Assembly Of God. The revival started in the summer of 1995, and was just your run of the mill, standard revival. But on the last night, the pastor of the Church their was giving this sermon, and then, he passed out...apparently hit with the Holy Spirit. When he woke a few minutes later, it was like he was a changed man. Then, people in attendance started to faint, apparently knocked down by the power of God. The Pastor then said that the revival needed to keep going, and that if the Church did it, then the people would come. And come they did...in droves. It turned into one of the biggest revivals in American history. 20/20 did a piece on it. People were going to Brownsville cause they believed that something "spiritual" was going on. They were waiting in lines for hours, even camping out in the parking lot just to get in.

My point is that I don't believe the Angel of Death was their either.
