they are freaky, when I lived in Tx. I used a half a can of hairspray on one and the thing was still able to walk away.

I really find the most effective way to kill them is a really heavy shoe!!!!! ummmm thrown from across the room.
I don't even like getting near them!!! |

screaming like a little girl always accompanies the shoe "beat down".... |

You might try "Mum-Tight"...florists carry it...we used to spray bees with it, they would freeze and then we were able to kill them when they dropped to the floor...not only efficient...but fun watching them fall

followed by the heavy breathing and trying to get the hair on the back of your neck to lie down.
You are all freaked out for a while following the shoe smack down Yeah noone told me about the gigantic mutant insects down here when i moved- I really think that is unfair- there should be a warning in the brochure or something!!!! |

northerners know not of these hideous beasts...... screaming like a little girl always accompanies the shoe "beat down".... You've got THAT right. We went south on a trip and stopped in Georgia for gas... as i was getting out of my car one crawled toward me and under the car toward my husband. i jumped back in the car horrified it was going to carry me away and i warned him to watch what was coming... he freaked too. he asked the neighboring gas pumper what it was and the guys said 'thayt thare is one of them thare tree roaches' i was mortified |
