Anyone know how to get a stain out of a white shirt? I have washed it wil bleach an it didn't move at all! Its my fav shirt...arg! Go get some Oxyclean...of course I gave that same suggestion to Monica Lewinski for her dress and we all know what happened there. Of course I would tell you to use bleach but I'm just a little sensitive to bleach right now |

or dilute bleach a bit with water and put it directly on the stain....let it sit and you can actually watch the stain disappear
but make sure you dilute it with water first or it will possibly eat the material |

If you've put it in the dryer you set it in. Try a dry cleaner or those little bottles of remover they sell at the grocery store in the detergent aisle... they work very well. They are about 2 ounce white bottles specialized for varying types or stains and work with enzymes.

Sulfuric acid works every time.

or you could dye the shirt the same color as the stain

I already put it in the dryer.. dang it!! Thanks guys Try the cleaners I suggested, they will work wih set in stains. Just don't put the shirt back in the dryer. You'll have to go to Wal-Mart, Giant Eagle or such to find them. They are right by the detergents and there are a few different kinds, read the bottles to match your stain type. I think they are about $2-3 each, cheaper than the cost of a new shirt, and better than dry cleaning too. I'm pretty sure those cleaners are similar to what dry cleaners use anyhow. |

Try spraying it with hairspray...then re-wash...also try dampening the area...rubbing any brand bath soap...let sit for an hour and then wash
