I can't imagine a boy liking a charm bracelet but then when my sons were a certain age they carried around their girlfriends little "charms" rather it was a eraser in third grade or varying forms of jewlery; or as the years went buy parts to their cars to a lock of her baby's hair because her baby's daddy cut out and he was the pinch catcher at delivery. I am sure there are other things they carried around that I didn't know about lol.

For boys , I would say you should make some CLAY PENS. Sculpy clay is fine to use.... Get a regular ball point bic pen , take the ink setting out. Roll your clay until about 1/2 inch thick . messure the clay so that it fits the pen tip to tip. Roll together and match the seems. you can make a basket ball for the top or even as the pen cover.
