That you really don't have to BATHE in the perfume in order for people to smell you?? holy cow I was in Walgreens and this woman walked by that had so much perfume on that my eyes watered and I literally started coughing and choking in the aisle. So she stops to ask me if I'm alright and all she's doing is making it worse. Seriously... someone put out a memo or something, 1 or 2 sprays does just fine, you don't need to douse your entire body in it.

even one or two sprays kills me. i can't stand the smell of perfume and only want to smell it if my nose is pressed up to your neck -- on men and women
in fact, i went for an interview the other day, at a school board, and there were notices up in the bathroom indicating the board was a fragrance-free workplace! i thought that was wonderful |

I use a small lil roll on that I use on my wrists and neck... that way I don't hose myself down in perfume. You only smell it if you're close to me. And the thought of a fragrence free place really is nice. I don't have allergies or anything like that... so when you literally make me choke in the aisle from your stench... time for a change.

my mom's perfume is the worst she's been wearing it since 1969... yes, 1969!!! That's a loooong time to smell awful. Even when she sprays it upstairs in her room, I would be down the hall and start choking and coughing. She refuses to use anything else. Plus she uses the "matching powder" I think I've finally devolped an immunity so I can tolerate being around her.

My mom wore Charlie, and it's not a nice smell either....

my mom wears "youth dew" and she swears NOTHING else smells good on her... however, this certainly doesn't smell good on her. I think she's been wearing it for so long that smelling any other way, is bad to her.

Personally I don't like perfume or make-up. It makes them look cheap and smell like s**t. When I was married, she would only use a little ruge. That was all I could stand for.

I used to date a guy who wore so much cologne, you could smell him in the halls of the buildings- this was in college- long after he was gone. I could always tell when he was in class, cause I could smell him, LOL To this day, some men's colognes make me sad, cause he wore them.
