Wind Dancer
6/2/08 Wind Dancer, A name I read in a book. Mteagle31, Mountain Eagle (name used 31 times) At first look? No, that’s not what it means, But Wind Dancer still fits. Perfect metaphor for the man Riding life’s currents and drifts. Similar to the bird he adores, The winds of his life change, Yet above the BS, he soars. A glance will reveal All that he seems; But if ya dive like an Eagle, Much more can be gleaned. With this wind dancer, No feathers adorn. With him instead, Jeans and leather are worn. The way that he talks, You’d swear he comes from the South. You will feel feathers though, In the lightness of his touch, And the written brush of his mouth. His voice, like the Eagle’s. Can be tender or harsh. Depends on the moment; Words right as rain or a quagmire-like marsh. So there ya go All you mteagle31 poetic fans. A winsome Wench’s take On this redneck birdman! |
