I just got the the Metallica cd that came out this past friday. If you have the cd and listened to every song share your oppinion of it. I think its pretty good considering. I am a fan of their earlier heavy releases like Master of puppets,the black abum and Justice for all. I hated the Load Reload cds as the heavy feel was gone, too commercial. Considering this isn't exactly what I was hoping for as my wish is to have the guys get back to the Master of puppets sound.I will say this is a big step closer to what I am wanting. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 7

iv been a big fan too, and i feel the same way, there old stuff is the way to go. i havent heard much about there new cd, so dose it have any good solos again? After mettalica went softer I switched to the old megadeath stuff and that was pretty awsome guitar work, then to the messhuga..messhuga is pretty good to i gusse, kind of really heavy, and now im listning to alot of crazy math metal stuff...good old mettalica started it all...so is the new cd as good as the old ones man?

Ye,i got it.It's a bit of a throw back to Justice for all with the long solos.Not totally but in that direction.JMO

I love it. But then, I like all Metallica except for St. Anger. I'm hearing a lot of AJFA sounding stuff in it, which is always a good thing.
