I remember last time I went without my computer for 2 weeks, I really did almost die lol.

I am not fully without a computer if you can tell I am still able to post.

I still have my messed up desktop.

Mine hasnt worked since 2 or 3 days after I got it. It goes super slow and takes forever to download anything, BIG waste of money buying it.

Then why did you not take it back, or call out the warranty on it?

The important thing here is that there are some lessons to be learned-

- keep up-to-date backups of your information, so can refer back to them in the event of a system crash or malware infection.

- always have anti-virus/spyware/malware measures present in your computer, as they'll be your first line of defense when the malware comes to attack.

- be careful of where you surf when online. most sites are legit and are free of spyware, while others are chocked full of crap courtesy of 14 year-old script kiddies.

- if you're sending your computer to get fixed, be sure you don't have any nude pictures of yourself on your hard drive, as you might get a wee bit of a surprise in the future.

Two weeks without a computer would do me some good. Maybe I'd go out and find a girlfriend instead of posting to a message board...

Well long story ,lets just say ,right after I bought it I had to move out of town and I just gave up on trying to get it fixed or taken in for another.
