well thats good to know . my brother is down there, he has us worried, aint heard nuthin in bout 5 hours... said he was headed for dry ground.

Was one of the lucky ones my power was back on by 4 Saturday.

Ike hit us clear up in Ohio! Trees down, power out etc. I was in the hospital with my kiddo who ruptured her appendix and they lost power.....but we would have never known it, the transition to generator was so flawless. I hope everyone who was affected has their power back and no big damage!

In Ohio it still had the strength of a category 1 hurricane. Even friend from Michigan got the rain then back out into the atlantic. Be a while for some here to get Power back I was forunate.

my friends in pearaland and houston are not fairing that well.They still have no electric.They have to keep buying ice and canned goods
