This is geared towards some men I have talked to on this site. Rule #1 Quit complaining so much. Not everyone is into drama. Rule #2 Quit mentioning how you're sick of being alone. Saying it just makes the reason understood. Rule #3 Quit being so insecure. The biggest turn off is someone that lacks confidence. Rule #4 Quit talking about your ex. Past is past and there's a reason. Move on! These are my pet peeves. Everyone else add your own. it.!!!!!! ooops did it again!I will get it right yet!Waving back at you from Ontario my smileys are not working it is my computer not the site I guess. you mean "any",.. guys don`t get ANY Caroline |

I see one of the " rules " is to show confidence. Well...what if a guy IS confident, but is just a bit shy when it comes to meeting new people? What's funny about that particular rule is that some guys who would fall into the " confident " category are the same guys who are considered " overbearing " when they meet people. |

That's a tricky one.I guess it takes a while to seperate the two. Yes, it does. The problem is, that " first impressions are everything ". * edited because another thought struck me * That means that I am considered " insecure " ( on first impression ) because I am kinda quiet when I first meet new people. It takes me a bit to get comfortable and to measure their sense of humor and to figure out what I can and can't get away with saying. That doesn't mean I'm not confident. It only means that I am cautious. |

He needs to find that middle ground. |

I hear you there,I think that today we are in to big of a hurry to meet mr. or ms.right that we quickly pass people by that could be the one.I am quilty of assuming things myself. If you lack confidence it is more noticable. But like you said the confident and brassy can be misunderstood.Any suggestions for me who has a hard time with this.I try my best to give the person enough time to show me their true self.
