I am a veteran, but I say we pull all of our troops from over seas, and invest the war effort into mass transit here. Public railways and wind fields!

You guys are so lucky! Gas is so cheap over there in your country! 6 dollars a gallon is so cheap it is almost free!

Anyone considered not driving gas guzzling cars and opting for more fuel economic models?!! It's kinda funny seeing people using their massive SUVs to drive their kids to school, surely something with a smaller engine would do the job just as well?

Don't forget Dan, you're converting from a currency that is much stronger than the dollar! Hell, monopoly money is stronger than the dollar at the moment!

i have a small car and i still go through over half a tank a week. but i go every day a week twice on tue because of all the classes and i didnt pick my schedule the nursing program handed it to me.

So,basically,sometime soon,a gallon of gas will equal minimum hourly wage? Thank goodness, I exercised my right to a sit-in protest. Quit the job, park the car, stay on Mingle all day:that will teach them.

MaryElizabeth, 6.00 in Athens? Boy am I ever glad I live in Florence. It was a madhouse here earlier....I went to six different gas stations before I found one that actually had gas...As of 6:30 tonight, gas was 3.99 here...
