DELTONA, Fla. - An angry Deltona father whacked his teenage daughter's boyfriend with a metal pipe after finding the boy naked in his daughter's room.
Authorities say Raul Colon, 45, didn't even know his daughter had a boyfriend or that the youngster had been sneaking into the home for more than a year. When he heard noises coming from his daughter's bedroom Thursday morning and saw a stranger standing naked on the girl's bed, he swung a metal pipe. He then chased the teen out the front door and called police. The boy was taken to the hospital where doctors closed a head wound with staples. Colon was charged with aggravated battery on a child and bonded out on $10,000. Daughter has a boyfriend who has been sneaking over for more than a year and JUST NOW the father notices.  |

Forget the charge, give that man a medal! Maybe he throught he was attacking a rapist that broke in ready to harm his daughter!

Forget the charge, give that man a medal! How did he know he was attacking a rapist that broke in ready to harm his daughter?! Don't say give him a medal for defending his daughter. He did see a stranger yet violence is never the answer.(politically correct response) But just how quiet were these two (daughter and boyfriend) not to have made a noise before? |

Why did DAD have to go to JAIL!!! It happen in his own house and he didn't know it was a kid??? What if his girl was dead???? would he have to let him go and say that's OK????

well the father was within his jurisdiction/discretion
if the boy was unknown to him he attacked a stranger in his house irregardless of how often his daughter SNUCK him into her room if charges are ot be pressed it should not of been against the father if stated properly in the o p it matters not the age of the intruder the point is he was an intruder as far as the father knew many are killed and/or raped by those under age |
