Okay some of us has been here for a while, and some just got here in the
last month or so. When you first joined the site was it in hopes of
making a connection. For some have meet that special one here, and of
course some thought they had but was just not there. So now that you
have been here a little while is your view of the site the same or has
it changed for other reasons of staying. In other words are you just
here mainly for the friendships you have found or is your view still
fully here in order to find a connection and just enjoying the
friendship for the time your here.

Profile still says just looking for friends & conversation. Not a
RELATIONSHIP. Still there. Have meet alot of nice folks, lots of good
conversation. Like this site better than anyother I have tried in the
past 8 yrs. I'm a stayer.

Of coarse I'm trying to meet HER. But the friends I've made are worth it
if SHE doesn't come along here.

Haven't even been here a month yet! Waiting to meet friends and
whatever!

Mostly for friends, but if my rich knight in shining armor comes along,
who am I to tell him no? LoL

At first I was hoping for the connection but as time went on I realize
that there is more here then what I expected. I have made a lot of good
friends that seem to keep things real as far as not finding someone if
that were to happen That wouldn't change anything as far as how I see
this site and besids that it does me good when i can be there and help
someone when I can and sometimes helping someone could be something
small and you not knowing you did it and that is what makes this site to
me well as far as not knowning it You people tell me anyways lol So
don't expect me to go anywhere

made some good friends while on here, I'm a stayer too.

I came here, because I wanted to find someone that I could possibly
spend my life with. (maybe found him) But, since I have been here, I
have met so many great people, and I consider them to be good friends.
So, I think I would have to say that if I do end up with the man of my
dreams, I would stay here because of all my good friends that I have
met.

Originally joined to find a life partner. Having real doubts that will
happen, but have come to enjoy most of the threads. So now it’s just a
place to have fun and connect with other folks having fun.

I came here to make friends and found an incredible bunch of people and
wonderful friends and am very pleased with the site. And I started back
in August and have seen many come and go, and am glad to see as many
stay as have.

I'm here to meet new people but IF I find that special someone that is
wonderful too. Overall this is the best site I have been in. Sorry guys
you're stuck with me.

When I first joined this site it was in hope to make that connection.
But I started talking to more people and making more friends I have come
to realize that, that connection that I wanted was not really what I am
looking for, wanting or needing. Don't get me wrong I am not giving up
on the whole idea of finding the connection, but for now I am enjoy the
type of therapy that I have found here. Before I joined I have gone
almost 2 months without laugh or smiling, and since I have not gone a
day with out a smile on my face. So to all my friends here thank you.
You will never understand how much this site means to me. Just knowing
that there are people out there like you makes it that much better. You
have added a ray of sunshine into my otherwise dark filled life.So for
now I am happy with just making friends and if that special somebody
comes along then that will just be a bonus. So here is to all my friends
here at JSH!

Txz. the reason why Im here you know it very well, and is a long story,
lol, but came here mainly for friends, and I have the best friends a
person can have, you where my first friend and still there for me girly
and you know im here for you as well,
never in my life thought I was going to have such good friends on the
net better then the friends I have at home, and always have you guys in
my heart, and if I never meet some of you you will always be remembered
with love, with some Im in touch and talk on the phone, and some I have
met, Im so happy to have met all of you

I came here not really knowing what I was looking for, yes I found love
here, my Shadowdog. I have also found some of the b\greatest friends I
have ever had in my lifetime, they truly love and care for me and
support m in every way they can. I'm staying, simply because this is
more than a site, its home....
