my son who is in 2nd grade came home from school as normal, did homework, gave him dinner, than bath. while taking a bath he said his ear felt funny, so i told him to stick his finger in there & wiggle it a little, then tug on the ear-lobe thinking a little bit of water was in there. later his mom(late as usual)came to have him spend the night. again ,he started to say his ear felt funny, so this time not being lazy i looked in his ear,& for the 1st time i got scared, because there was something in his ear. luckily mom had tweezers, & what did i pull out...the eraser from the tip of a pencil. thank god for the tweezers, because i`ll i had was pliers. needless to say after the crying(i wasn't, but felt like it), we all we`re laughing

I have a 6 yr. old who has the biggest crush on a beautiful african american girl.

He came home after the 1st day saying, "I get to sit by Savanah. Oh mom- her skin is just like hot chocolate!"

I am thinking of a chastity belt from Santa... j/k!

My daughter was eight, and came screaming down the hall to me one day. "get it out, get it out!!!" So like any other mother I said for her to come down first and then asked her what I was suppose to get out of where.

Well to make a long story short, she apparently had an itch in her ear and use one of those pop a point pencils to scratch with, except my little Einstein used the point end and got 3 of the points stuck in her ear canal, they were so far down in the canal that we ended up at the ER to have them remove them.

Kids will put the dardest things in the dardest places. Crayons, which can cause a serious infection or perforation, are particularly hard to find because they don't show up well on xrays and sometimes children will mimic what they see their parents do so be particularly careful what you let them see you do; suppositories and tampax. And they are heck to get off of wallpapaer so another good reason to keep them on the table with supervision around younger kids. P.S. A clear face mask can help you pull crayon off most surfaces.
