A wonderful man, named Shane, lost his life yesterday when he was riding his motorcycle after being hit head on by a pick up truck.

He was my friend and my mechanic. He leaves behind a wife and 2 small children.

This could have been avoided had he been wearing a helmet while riding. Instead this 30 yr old man's life ended in tragedy and suddenly.

I will miss Shane very much, it was a kind man with a big heart.

So sorry for you and his friends and family.

Shane's funeral was this morning and let me tell you I have never been to a more fitting funeral than this one.


It was a beautiful service! And then the funeral percession consisted of all his friends, family, & co workers riding their motorcycles leading him through his home town past the businesses he owned to his final resting place.


Shane was in a mini hearse pulled by his father on Shane's 1962 Indian motorcycle. What a fitting tribute to a man that love and restored antique motorcycles.
