Another Republicrat opens his mouth and sticks his foot in it!

Obama told voters that they shouldn't believe John McCain and Palin's talk about reforming Washington. "You can put lipstick on a pig," Obama said. "It's still a pig."

Wow!

Wow!

Oh, you never heard that one before? It actually predates St. Palin. Most importantly, this is just more smoke to obfuscate the issues.

According to the news I read, Obama made the remark yesterday in Lebanon, Va.

Nader is looking better and better!

I honestly dont think he was refering to Mccain and Palin but I could see where it could be taken that way. It looked like the crowd there thought he was talking about them the way they were laughing. Then he added the old fish. You just knew it was going to catch flak in the press.

it wasn't actually meant as a sexist statement. he was trying to state that McCain was offering change without actually giving it. like you can dress up the issues however you want but its still the same issue. how is it that the world can no longer understand common sayings, sarcasm, or satire. go read Johnathon Swift's A Modest Proposal. and please learn to understan dna love language and all of its nuances.

The saying just means that no matter how you dress it up, it is what it is.

Meaning that you can dress up a non qualified to be president and vp but they will still be non qualified to lead.
