Hey all. I am new here...go figure. Uhmmm well something about posting a blog or whatever to a bunch of complete strangers sounded somewhat intriguing to me so a little about me and why I'm here.

I am a single mom to one almost 6 year old boy. Yes, he is adorable and it so totally my whole world but as we all know its nice to have that certain someone beside us in life. So began my search for Mr. Right. I met this guy, 25, in the army (EOD), an adorable 3 year old daughter, raised by his mother, very good looking and appeared to have everything going for him. He came over met my family, ate with us, helped my parents around the house, got cozy with my son, wrote me love letters stating how much in love with me he was and how he wanted to get married and have children together etc. Well anyway, right after some schooling in the army and enjoying a really nice birthday from me he turned and flipped a switch right before my birthday hmmm. Told me he suffers from PTSS from being in Iraq, that he can't handle being a relationship, and yeah that he doesn't love me anymore. :( Crazy, he was everything I have ever wanted in a guy.

This was kinda round two as far as heartbreaks go so I am really just looking to have friends and date as I am no longer interested in investing my whole self into someone who could care less about it. I can honestly say I am one of the nicest people alive and breathing in this world but am no longer interested in taking risks where my heart is on the line and my son is compromised. Messed up right? Oh well I will get over it! I have a great sense of humor so hopefully you aren't tearing up too much at reading this sappy little whatever it is if you are DRY UP, no worries I'm good! lol! Looking forward to meeting you all!
