Lil, personal questions, what's your natural color? What colors do you (if you do) now use? prof/at home? See my daughter on my profile...about that color is my natural or maybe a lil darker. I go to a salon then absolutely no worries, think about the red family - a nice copper would look awesome on you! 
i actually have thought of going red..and did one long ago...but they didn't do me right at all..no offense to anyone here...but have you seen where a Mexican has attempted to die their hair blonde and it turned a RUSTY color? Ewwwwwwwwww yup that is what happened to meeeeeeeee...needless to say I had it bleached out same day and new blonde color applied. Now, Im scared. HA!

go for it lil - hair always grows back so no worries now as for color, as I see your a very light blonde (by pic) that can be more dramatic than the cut... ask a professional to take your skin tone and also discuss the maintenance, then go for it. My hair never starts out this blonde...but getting in the sun and frequent wAshes does lighten it up.  mine does that to me too after 2 weeks... i do mine lt brown and two weeks later i get this! even when i go have it done and they add stuff in there to make it stay and it doesnt!!!

Another suggestion is have it highlighted with some light brown or darker blond actually looks good and gives one time to get use to the color. Awwww Peccy knows I'm just jacking with him cause I can!! 
Yeah I have thought of subtle lowlights ... I know it too I just jacking wiff you!

your stylist would know not to use any ASH colors, esp when going from blonde to reds.  my hair is very dark (on top of that I dye it) so imagine my stylist's drama when I decided for New Years of 2000 to go platinum blonde...
but it can be done (was a blonde for a whole 5-6 days) |
