I'll Bleed You
you tell me, I'll bleed you. a conversation not of audible. when you saw my color, were you sure, a positive? on my walk the blooms have spent their season, seeds blown and falling, no one to gather for the next I missed you in my melancholy way of remembering your promises. now silent in your grave. the disappearing shoreline has waved in another attempt to gather the rocks from distance strewn and lying on the shards of past smoothed over to allow my walk so I do not have to feel the pricking in my tender your promises, no one to carry the candle in the dark so I will open my eyes, heart wide and wondering for the bumps in the dark the moon will be enough of a man you noticed my eyes were shy a hue of blue that fades with your phrases to frozen and ice in time only you would know my heart do not look, for you will remember until I let you forget etch on the nape of my soul pull aside the veil that leaves traces of silver youth's shade of age and with your quill you have outlined my lips another promise of kiss to know for as long as.. as the shoreline disappears to reappear, so, the ink, invisible, is seen through a blinded perception hearing what is inaudible understood when the blue veil, lifted, unfolds.
