I don't think men are the only ones who do this- its not gender specific. but i also don't think its something that is done on purpose. I know that in the past I have said one thing and done something else but its because i thought about what i had said and it was stupid and i did not agree with it and i changed my mind. Lets not gender bash as we all have the tendency to do this. We should figure out how to handle the situation and communicate. JMO
