Prairie Dust
It circled and twisted. I saw it coming. Stirring up up everything, Left out, uncovered. The field disappeared, In a red clouded haze. The tractor kept moving Though the ground looked ablaze. From the distance I noticed. No one stopped their ritual. Kept right on moving, As though just habitual. It didn't take long, For the small dirty twister, To fizzle out, leaving field, Moving tractor. Just for a swift, And short burst of time, A red devil stirred, Prairie dust was his crime.
