on this site so often use absolutes in their assessments of the other gender?

Words like ALWAYS and NEVER should rarely be used especially when describing members of a group, gender, etc.

It ALWAY pisses me off when I see this

Yeah, me too, cause unless you've met every single person in this world, you can't judge that.

I never think it's allway's all of "them". Everybody has their own ability to be all that they can be at whatever............OK my brain's not quite awake yet.

Such absolutism in thinking might be thought of as stereotyping.

As a scientist, I don't like to use Always, Never, and Everyone, but I'll admit I slip up from time to time.

I'll use Always an never concerning myself, because i can make it my business to make sure of the statement, but I'd rather not make such assumptions about others.

Most stereotypes are based on some fact. The fact is, some men and some women are respectively pr!ck$ and b!tche$. Not all of us, but some of us can be real pains in the butt. The problem isn't that these people exhist, but the problem lies in the fact that certain people seek them out. Of course they keep seeking the same type of person (because the one complaining obviously can't be at fault), and keep meeting with the same result. Hmm... wonder where the problem really lies.

It's the nice guy/gal situation in reverse. Me, I'm lucky, I know that everythings my fault, so I don't have to worry about where blame lies.
