the only reason i see fit to do so in open forum instead of behind the scenes.... i treat this as close to real life as posible... i rarely use the edit button to corect some stupid thing that i say... i dont go behind someones back... if i have something to say.. i say it.. if that instance were to have happened in real life... i woulda called him on it in the middle of church.. a bar.. wherever.. it wasnt right to be 2 faced and hypocritical.. and i wanted to let him know that he wasnt as sly as he thought he was.. or as high and mighty.. as well as give the people who were going off about how right he was an insite to the other side of the coin... i keep things real.. i do in the threads as i would do in real life.. and have gotten my azz scolded more than once... but deception is not right.. and hypocracy is deception.. mind you this is just one example.. i dont mean to disect it.. but most of the other examples are in the land of the lost threads with bill and jeni! lol Then I would have to say ok then izzie....we have different ways of doing it. And for me I don't know if it's going behind someones back more then to think it's solving the issue the easiest possible way. I think at least for me sometimes on open threads even though some deserve only makes their hackles get up more....but if given another way to look at it....with logic instead of heat of the moment....then they are forced to think in more logical terms. I actually think in this instance I im'd him. There are ladies here whom I have the utmost respect just like with you because they don't take shi* and speak their minds. But I guess all those darn edequite classes I had to sit through rubbed off... |

yes I would like to see.....the example..... I think I need to get out of the Matchmaking Game more.....see what is happening in the threads. Because I don't see this. And what would izzie think to solving this with someone like him? Or worse that I have come across. You hit the nail on the head Deb... sometimes and i'm included.. we judge those we don't know by what they say... if we know them we seem to have a higher tolerance for their antics than those we don't know and i think most everyone is in this pool of personalities, even those that swear they are or will always be nice... (((Joy))) Lets not forget to mention the fact that what goes on in the threads is not personal. We play, we have fun and we get crazy. No harm no fowl...Oh, one more thing. The grudge holders are the worst.. I mean, my god, some people need to loosen their belt buckles...

(ok im not that bad.. but i dont bite my tongue ether) its just my way.. yours works too.. better in some instances.. most probibly.. and keeps you outa trouble... mine works for me..  you know i love ya sweet lady!

People dont like change, and thats what a lot of you have seen here. At the end of the day though you will all have to get used to it.
Im new here so dont know what it was like before or understand the differences, but i gather there has been a merger of sites and there are a whole load of new faces. It will always take a little time for things to settle, so people should be patient. But things will never get back to exactly what you were used to. Personally though i have not seen a great deal of nastiness or trouble here, so i dont know what is really being complained about. I have seen and have been part of a lot of banter with people, but its all been in fun even if some of it seems mean. If this is the meanness people are talking about then thicker skins will need to be grown. |
