I'm so glad you're alone. I do not wish you bad luck, Karma, or anything else bad. You cannot know that this world as we know it will end in 2012. The earth will collide with a giant meteorite. I'd like to see it coming. I hope the prediction is wrong.(maybe). It is supposedly based on the Aztec/Inca calendar. I believe that God is the only one who knows for sure. In fact Jesus says, as quoted in John(of Revelations) that "no one, but the Father knows the date of the last Judgement Day."
Ya'll are cute, clever and bright, but, the fact remains, that none of you knows for sure what is going to happen to set off the beginning of the "end" of the world as we know it. Personally, I do not care. I have been taught that the scriptures, The Old and the New Testaments month after month and year after year, will tell us when the "end" is near. John, the beloved, thought it would be in his lifetime. We've all, thought Revelations of the ages, would be His lifetime. I have come to believe that the so called "end", will be something for me to see. I love God. I love Jesus Christ and believe that the "end" of the "world" as we seem to partially understand will be within my life time. Amen, Amen, I say. Let it be, Let it be. I am not enamored of these times. I see very few "good deeds" as in the Lords eyes and I do not worry about it. This love and the lust that comes from that love, has no meaning. It is the pure of heart, mind, soul and body who will be raised to The rapture on the Glorious return of Jesus Christ, the Messiah, Our Lord and the reason that we have been waiting for ever so long for, the Lord, our Saviour. He came, He Ministered and He gave up His life in the only way that we, His paultry servants could understand at that time. Yet, we did not understand. We are sooooooo full of sin, that only the pure, Jesus Christ, God become man, could redeem. The Romans could not understand the diety. They continued on their path of rightiousness, for His namesake. Yet, they were wrong, and "due to a lottery", decided to go "against" our Messiah. |

Every 5 years someone tells us the world will end. Hell at this rate we would have been over 22 times now.

it might very well happen. but MY point is this-
i simply DO NOT care. if it happens, then fine. if it doesn't, then go away and leave me alone. i've got enough idiotic crap in my life to deal with as it is- i don't need to worry about some gigantic rat turd gallivanting toward the rat turd WE live in in a colllision course. i don't need to extra stress, and i don't need to be pestered by idiots wanting to push their ideology down my throat. i simply don't care about 2012. hell- the asteroid to be may very well have ME in its sights. if that's the case, then fine- at least my death will be a (hopefully) painless one. |

Who were you saying that you were glad they were alone to? Besides it is not a meteorite that will destroy the Earth. I'm a preacher's kid and I was raised up on the word although I don't always act like it. I'm sorry woman, but we still have to see peace over the Earth, the Temple Mount in Jerusalem crushed and rebuilt, 3 1/2 yrs of great peace and harmony and then 3 1/2 yrs of total hell all before the Earth is destroyed! The antichrist will have to come on the scene and when he does, he will fool many and not everyone gets taken away at the start of the Tribulation either. 144,000 are left behind to save the lost. Christ won't necessarily come back at the beginning of the Tribulation, so Christians may still have to see some of it. Anyone including Christians that accept the mark of the beast, will go to hell. Even some Christians will denounce their Faith during the Tribulation. So, I'd be more worried about surviving, being persecuted, thrown into concentration camps, watching millions suffer, having to run for your life and fight for it, and not losing Faith rather than the End of the Earth!

And don't quote the Bible and not quote what it really says. Stick to a KJV and not an NIV so you don't get mislead. Because the Bible also says, anyman that addeth to or taketh away from the word of God, in the lake of fire his place will be also!

We have about 5.6 Billion years before the sun expands and burns up the earth. So I am not to worried about the end of the world.
