Without Fix.
I happened across a small clockwork toy deep in a dusty drawer from long ago. What is this jumble of gear and alloy? Was it always there, or did I not know? A relic from when I was small and young? It comes back, something with an “L” I think Its name I remember but keep unsung. Broken though, perhaps some gears out of sync? With care I fine tune the apparatus. Too complex, all impossible to fix; like fixing a shattered crystal lattice. Love goes back to the drawer, gears in a mix. Perhaps love will be worth another look? Could love perhaps be worth the time it took? -John Le Fou My first post here. I know it isn't anything special, but I just felt like getting a little something off my chest. Shakespearian sonnets never come out smooth for me... It must be Thursday, I never could get the hang of Thursdays. |
