What is wrong if she says these things in church? She does preach it while she is at work. And the pipeline is getting built. Does the name Jerimiah Wright mean anything to you. Thats acceptable what he said about our country? But seriously why would you pray for a corperation in church? how about a prayer for the homeless or desitute? how about a prayer for the Iraqi civilians? or the crippled men who return from iraq? Pray for oil? no wonder god sent a hurricane at the republican convention You are a complete....Do you know how many lives that hurricane affected in a bad way..What a total jerk you are...You have just lowered yourself way below the problems with the republican party and boy are there many...You hit an all time low!!!!!!!! The convention was no where near that storm....You my friend are no better than the people you trash everyday!!!! Remember when the communications director for Focus on the Family put out a tongue-in-cheek YouTube video asking supporters to pray for rain during the Democrat’s convention? Remember when there was some flapping in evangelical circles around Katrina that contended it was because New Orleans was a moral cesspool? So what’s God saying that the RNC is having to cancel their entire first day, and perhaps cancel all the way , because of Gustav hitting? No its people being compassionate toward their fellow human beings.Thats why they postponed some events.. Whether rep or dem we are all human after all..I'm an independent and what you said is down right disgraceful..You are no better than the people you bash everyday...I stand behind that comment.. You have a right to an opinion

As I recall the late Jerry Falwell was one of the first to jump on the religious bandwagon after September 11..while people were still in shock and picking through the rubble, trying to find survivors, Rev. Falwell suggested that god had forsaken the US in "allowing" the attacks to occur..he blamed (among other things), feminism, homosexuality and Barney...

God, please watch over my daughter while she is at church camp this weekend. help her too focus on you instead of those durn boys. also, God please watch over me at work tonight. its going to be a long one. please give me the strength and energy to help someone tonight as I go about my routine!! amen note...is this the right thread???
