Yesterday I got an email from a male. I replied in what I thought was a nice email. I received a scalding email back in which he was upset with my "canned" reply, would these replies to his questions have been better?
1) You sent me an email...that's why I looked at your profile. 2) If YOU put something in YOUR profile that lets me know we'd have major issues, WHY would I want to take it any further? 3) My photo is not meant to entice anyone. Gawd, I'm in my 50's, the days of using a physical attribute to entice is pretty much over. 4) No, I am not desperate, therefore your awesome abilities to satisfy a woman is of no interest to me, anyway, I'm hard to satisfy! Now there's the "UNCANNED" answer. |

i hope you ended up blocking the creep,, i dont know whats going on but geeze the other day i had nothing but trouble as there was one guy that seem to be nice enough and all of sudden he emails me and ask if i feel sexy just because he was hard up..(he can be all he wants but he not getting a thing from me) and then other guy i sware he sounds like another member or just another 'a' life that i dont want to deal with. i ended up blocking him.

Sorry, I did not mean anything about the way your post was written. I just meant that it could be offensive to the other party. And I did notice that you were fair not to name the other person.

Welcome to the club sugar, we have martinis on Thursday...lucky for you today is thursday, you don't have to wait a whole week...People are ignorant most of the time, I've come to this conclusion...
It's like "love me hate me love me hate me" I just don't have that kind of energy anymore....If they have unmanageable issues, they go out with yesterdays garbage.... |

There are a bunch of those on every dating site I've ever been on -- and you can't let them get to you.
I always say that the world is full of idiots, and they're all either on dating sites or driving the car in front of me. Or both. Just ignore the morons. There are a lot of great people on this site; you just have to get to know who's who -- and a few bad ones, inevitably and sadly, are going to slip through the cracks once in awhile. Just block him -- and if there's any further harassment, report him. |

Don't apologize -- one of the best things about this site is that it gives you a venue to talk about this stuff. And lots of people who can totally identify with the experience. There's a reason the forums are called a "Community." |
