online relationships differ from IRL....due to timing. Irl a meet happens , then a date,and perhaps a second. online alot of time is spent getting to know them before you even meet. so when a meet actually occurs,you already feel as you know them ,but you are still restricted by it being the first time.....

So what is your question, should you feel uncomfortable meeting them the first time.. if that is the case, depends on the person you've been talking to.. what depths have you gone with them, meaning how well do you know them.. Each and every encounter is different.
