Fanta, I was attached to the 3rd infantry while in Germany '94 through
part of '96.
I will be the first person to state that my job was purely support which
does not mean **** as far as the war or where our troops are, etc. so I
hope you are not trying to go that route.
Yes I know there are soldiers out there that see worse than I ever saw,
and I am thinkful that I did not see any of that. however, I have been
to the balkains, thankfully not to iraq. My ex was in Iraq and it
changed her completely.
With my mos, I signed up with where I felt I, myslef could do the most
good, and I did what I could. I never disobeyed orders, unlike Gary
(self-admitted); I never his from anything. I volunteered for a lot of
reconnaisaince missions and such that I knew I could do well.
but my point in all ofthis is people in general need to quit bitting so
much, and exercise their right to vote, and to stand for election
themselves. They also need to quit making accusations that are
unfounded and slanderous. And they need to quit thinking that the post

Oh yeah, I spent 28 months in a place called Aschaffenberg. spring of 81
till feb 84!

My mos was quartermaster. i did everything from laundry/shower, to
supply.
I also worked inside a combat support hospital while in the Balkains
with the 3rd id. I also worked as a chaplains assistant. My primary mos
was laundry and shower; however, I was lucky enough to be able ot do al
ot fo these other things because we had an overabundance of personnel
for my mos.
