Ladies do you even initiate contact or more wait till you are written to? i almost always write to people first. but only if there's something interesting they've posted that i read, and the email would probably be related to that. also, yes, i found my love on a dating site. and yes, it was me who wrote first. i even recall almost the exact words i wrote when i did. |

I was matched by feralcatlady in the matchmaking game... she has done a few successful matches... but like anything it takes time. what is feralcatlady in the matchmaking game? if you look in the relationship advice forum... there is a thread called the matchmaking game.... feralcatlady started the thread... if you decide to play.... read the rules they are usually on page one..... let her know... hang out in there and post... and eventually she will do matches... you email all that you are matched with and see if anything happens. |

My fiance and I met here on JustSayHi last year. We were hanging out in the Games threads and just kept asking each other questions to get to know more about each others likes and dislikes, just getting to know each other as friends.
He asked one question that I wouldn't answer on the thread and told him if he wanted to know the answer, he would have to email me. Sparks flew from the minute we spoke in emails and we have been together ever since. Thank you to JustSayHi.......feels weird that it won't be called that after tonight.......

 Not only did I meet, but MARRIED the love of my life here on the former JSH! Will be celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary Nov 3rd! Man, how time flies!
He sent me a little St. Patrick's Day wish on March 16, we met two weeks later, and married....as I said....in Nov! He is precious!!! So, don't give up, and as has been mentioned....you meet great friends here. Who knows, you may even marry your best friend. Blessings your way...... Whispers

Has being on dating sites helped you find love? It has helped me realize that the kind of person I'm looking for doesn't use dating sites.... ....and knowing is better than not knowing.... I have met 9 people from dating sites, and 8 of them were absolute disasters....and sometimes, that's the best way to learn.... |
