I agree!!!!!! First day of school----I took my son; so I could see the setting and the teacher and the kids. But, my son didn't cling too me like some kids do---so leaving was easy. He was busy playing and having fun.

Both girls will be going to the same school again, only this time its high school.
The oldest is a senior this year, and with 2 people driving, and the bus, I will no longer be available to those who "missed" the bus.
I used to walk my girls to school on the first day of each year, and anytime I had a morning off. And then again on the last day of the year too.

Yes you will look forward to it as the years come and go, but when they reach their senior year as mine has, it is really hard. She will be grown and going off to college soon and I will be lost. Enjoy the years, they go by quickly.flowerforyou
