I believe you can have more than one soul mate and they come at different times in your life.

I have met 2 so far, one I dated , and one that's a good friend of mine.

I don't think you have to be in a relationship with someone them for them to be your soul mate.

I'll not stop having friends because I have met my soul mate.
He would have to understand that friends come with the package.

The next one will be my lifetime soul mate.
He'll be long soon enough

People misunderstand the concept of soulmate... A soulmate is someone you have known in another lifetime in any form... family, friends, business associates, and yes even enemies... There is an energy that draws those people together, not always in a good way either... Your soulmate can come in this life also in many different forms, family, friends, business assocaites, enemies and yes at times even a romantic interest...

However, the energies that are shared between soulmates are intense and when you add sexual energy to it, you will without a doubt burn each other up to the point you become enemies....

Stop looking for your soulmate, they are already in your life sometimes for a day, a week, a lifetime, but for Christ sake don't ruin it, enjoy it for what it's worth, learn from it, love it, receive it as the gift it is, but don't suffercate it, you won't ever want to find it again...

I don't use the term soulmate for the reasons Lily listed above. It's a term that has been used to describe romantic relationships, and I don't that is wholly accurate.

However, I think what the op is asking is if you found the person you thought was perfect for you. And, in that case I would date them exculsively. Obviously you can't be sure about someone until you have dated for a period of time. But, I think if you have decided after the 3rd date that you want to keep seeing them because you think it will lead to something deeper than it's time to stop dating others.

When you find your soulmate & REALIZE that, your life takes on a new meaning. Together you can whip the world, the LOVE found in their presence, warms you to the very depths. Little else really matters, because there is joy & happiness in EVERYTHING. You spend lots of time talking & basking in the joy of being together.

Multiple soulmates?????????????? I think not, but my life is far from over, almost anything is poss.
