The general rule is 1/2 your age plus 7...
So since I am 27, 1/2 of that is 13.5, that plus 7 means that for me the youngest I can go is 20 or 21... For the older do the formula in reverse... 27 minus seven is 20, times 2 is 40... That makes an "acceptable age" range for me 20 to 40... Although personally I probably wouldn't go younger than 24 or 25... It's about maturity and having items in common... |

It doesn't matter. Age is a number. I could go into the Bible, but, I won't. (yes, I know you are sighing with relief!!, lol). I will date a guy from ages 18 to 70, depending on our "connection". I am NOT talking about sex here. Well, good sex is always good sex,lol,but is not a requirement. Sometimes kissing and cuddling is just as gratifying. I feel of no particular age. Oh! I guess I can't explain it here, but, it will be known that I have lived with an 18 yr old when I was 40 and up to 65 yrs old so far in my life! I am not done with my life yet! Why should I limit myself? Everyone has lessons to teach and to learn. Bon Chance!

im 20 and id date 20-35... i dont look for 30-35 as a rule but if i ran into a guy and we connected then id be ok with it but no older... would feel too much like he was my dad or fatherly figure.

i dont think im closed minded at all. i personally and this is my opinion on my life i personally couldnt be in a relationship with a guy who was 20-50 years older. that repulses me and makes me want to puke.
now does that mean everyone has to feel like me? no of course not. but it doesnt mean im closed minded or anyone else who thinks like i do. just means we have a diff thing that makes us tick |

"i knew it" Did I pass? well...you are doing quite well. i think it is all a very individual thing. there are some younguns i'd have nothing do with. and some cantankerous old darts who likewise i just pass by. on the other hand i see some aged kids who still can dance and fingerpaint and younger ones with hearts fully developed and maturity way beyond their years. so i don't care how old you are. it is what you are that counts.

I prefer older but am a very open person so I don't really care as long as they are of legal age and not laying on their deathbed.

Ask yourself this:
1. Do I look washed out in an orange jumpsuit, are fuzzy slippers my style, and do stripes make my arse look huge? 2. Am I cool with wiping drool from a droopy chin, buying Fixodent and condems at the same time, playing checkers at dawn, and changing Depends on a daily basis? 3. Does this person challenge and intrigue me not only physically, but intellectually, emotionally and spiritually as well? Depending upon your answers...GO FOR IT! As for me...five years above/below my age in an intimate sexual relationship is my semi-limit thus far in life. If you can't "relate"...you tend to "irritate"...ME! |
