This year I'm voting not Republican or Democrat, but Libertarian. I know what you are thinking, voting for a 3rd party is throwing your vote away, but I think it's THAT attitude that allows the two parties to struggle for power rather than any useful being done.

This year Bob Barr has managed to make it on the Ballot in 48 states and he's working on the last two. He also has most of the voting public wanting to see him in the debates, so hopefully we can see what he's about without visiting his website.

I do encourage you to visit his website though so that when you go into the voting booths, you can make a educated and well-informed decision, no matter who you vote for.

Bob Barr's an interesting guy. I almost wish he had more of a platform, but then look what happened when Perot ran in 1992...

It didn't help that Perot was selling his votes... that may have just been a rumor though.

I'm from Ga and I remember when Barr was the head Fed Prosecutor here....and have followed him and his career since.
He became a Libertarian when the Reps rejected him.
I'm a card carrying Libertarian but I'll not waste my vote, lest Obama get in and lead us down the path of socialism.
My vote will go to McCain/Palin.

Yeah, i'm leaning towards the libertarian views myself. They seem like the only ones that make sense. Not to mention they are the onbly ones that have plans and can actually defend them. I also think it's a wise thing to not get caught up in this "lesser evil" nonsense. IMO i think we are just running ourselves around in circles by doing that.
