All depends Trust is something once it has been broken can be the hardest thing to ever regain if it can be.

It can be rebuilt.......with lots of hard work from both parties involved, and time. It isn't easy. One has to decide if it is worth rebuilding to them......

Once a trust has been broken with me, I will eventually trust them again, but not in the same manner, for everytime I am burned by that person they get a bit further from my heart.

Once a trust has been broken with me, I will eventually trust them again, but not in the same manner, for everytime I am burned by that person they get a bit further from my heart. That can happen...it's like taking an axe to a tree...you chip and chip away at it ..you can stop up to a point and the tree will still stand and there is a point of no return when that tree will fall.

Someone smart once told me that trust can be regained, but not the entire area of the heart that the offending party once occupied. The relationship will be forever changed.
