Topic: day in hell

I discovered what a day in hell would be like by my own choosing. I got up this morning and went to the dentist for an ultrasound teeth cleaning. 2 hours of hell. Then after that I went to the DMV and sat for 3 hours to get my drivers license renewed. 3 hours of hell. Then I went to the bank and took out a loan. 2 more hours of hell and questions. What a day. I actually needed a drink.

That does actually sound like a day in hell! Although you could have used some kind of run in with law inforcement to make it perfect

That makes me cringe just hearing about it. Sorry you had to do that. I had to go to the DMV on my birthday this year because I procrastinated for so long renewing my driver's license. The DMV is truly hell.

I didn't realize I had planned such a wonderful day of pain until I had a plum vodka, bombay blue gin, triple sec oj martini in a sugared rim martini glass with a big wedge of lime in my hand.

What was I thinking? The only thing missing was a nagging ex and a flat tire without a jack. Or a run in with the law. Or a hemorroid flareup and no witch hazel to be found.
