Why not? By the time they are in 9th grade, it's not like they've never seen a woman in a bikini before. More than likely they've seen a lot more than that already. The other teachers are probably jealous because they don't feel comfortable wearing one.

Depends on the bikini...
Some are trashy and some arent.. the school has a dress code Im sure and didnt allow the girls in the class to wear bikinis either.. Shes needs to be the adult and stop whining....as for a court case...she doesnt have one |

should mothers have some class and not try and act like teens?
I think so.Court case?Nope. The school has a dress code and dressing in a bikini in front of your kids friends is pretty tacky. |

I am going to add an aussie perspective here... we are attempting to educate our youngsters about SUNSAFE, which involves, hat, uv protected shirt and sunscreen, when on the beach...
No Mum, or other adult would be allowed to assist a day trip, if they were not sun protected, in the above manner... it's not the swimsuit, or lack of, here, it's the uv protection... |

Hello Jax!!!!!!!!!!!
How's the world at the other end??? This end is sloooooowly moving back into tropical... (well a mini spring, it only lasts about six weeks, winter, then six weeks spring, then back to the perpetual summer) the summer that comes booming down on us again. |

Slip, slop, slap!!!
or something like that .... |

Slip, slop, slap!!! or something like that .... yep! In a weird kind of way, it works! (Says a lot about aussie mentality...keep it simple, add a catchy tune, and we can retain the info.. ) |

If she didnt wear a bikini, what would she wear? jeans and a t-shirt? shorts and a t-shirt? What are the kids wearing? Are they allowed to wear bikinis, or no? if no, then I would agree mother shouldnt wear one either. but considering i can almost garuntee the kids can wear bikinis (with appropriate guidelines of course) then the mother should be able to follow the same guidelines ias it IS the beach they are going to and what do women of ANY age wear to the beach, generally speaking?
AGAIN, it must be done in taste and kept within same standards of the students, but there is no reason she should not be forced to not wear a bikini. |
