Avoid a relationships with someone based off the fact that he owns a firearm?

No way I think it's hot (unless he's a psycho) more men need to man up and quit being little *****es.

IF I were "dating"...I would say HECK NO!

That would actually be a HUGE brownie point in my book. Just so long as he doesn't mind that I own a mini-arsenal myself, as well as being quite the skilled archer with a compound bow.

I'd lead the way to the firing range for our first date. bigsmile

That depends... is he showing this firearm to me on the first date? Unless he's a law enforcement officer, I'd be turned off by that.

I have a gun in the house, and I know how to use it. If the guy I was dating was freaked by that, well, I wouldn't be dating him much longer. ::smiles::

Not unless he has a problem with my sword/dagger/knife collection. BTW they are just for decoration.

If he was showing it off on the first date, or talking about it non stop, that might be a turn off. Other than that, it would be fine as long as he was safe with it.
