I'm new here and hoping for friendship and more possibly. Just wondering why very few if any ladies even viewed my profile as I have tried to match with many in my area. One response! What am I doing wrong!

I found that the only way to get noticed here is to establish and maintain a presence in the forums. When I first signed up, I sent out a few e-mails to some locals and NEVER got a reply. After I had been here for awhile, and had posted some things, people started writing to me, and I get a lot of e-mails here now. I never write to anybody first, though -- that initial experience left me with a sort of a stigma.

Welcome! What's worked for me is to both search and view others' profiles regularly; then visit the forums, too. If there's nothing on the forums that interests you on a particular day, start a thread about something you're interested in. You'll be surprised at how many responses you'll get. Many Mingle2 members cruise the forums quite a bit.
