Yes. Been there, and it was exotic and outrageous and if I had it to do over again, I'd move the world off its axis to make the oceans change course and open a new land for us two to claim as our nation...for our inheritors.

I'd be more interested to know how many intellectual men said yes to this... I'm pretty sure this just goes for men who don't like to hear women talk anyway. Also, I'd be curious to know if any of you saying yes have ever been cussed out in a language you don't understand. i have been cussed out in french, bosnian, and rumanian...damn it was sooo sexy!

I've dated a russian woman. I've dated a polish woman. I've dated a spanish woman. I've dated a serbian woman. All spoke little to no english. It was interesting but fun. I learned a lot about culture. Almost married the serbian woman.

It would be fun see you all ,forced to live in other country with out speaking that language  Hmmm... It cant be that bad. You only need to learn the essentials like Hi and bye. The rest is like charads... Sure .I need to see that when you very hungry That would be a tummy rub with grunting sounds... She'll understand..  hope you will eat what she bring in the plate wow-and you're single? I absolutely can't figure that out~snap this girl up guys! |

Ok. Two things about this.
One....Yes I would. There is a Mexican woman where I work that I would love to go out with. Two...if I DID get into a relationship with someone who's first language isn't English, I would simply use the opportunity to learn another language. :-) |

People do it all the time but be cautious.
I read about a man who went to China and talked to the woman using a translator as well as a translation device. Pretty cool invention. She didn't understand any English. I imagine it was like texting but the person is in the same room. He married and brought her to the states. She went back to China and came back saying she had to work off a debt her family had incurred. She would not accept his money it was her responsility. She ended up working near San Francisco and lived in a Chinese dorm. This is apparently very common. Chinese entrepreneurs get basically cheap slave labor until the debt is gone. Yup...this is in the US. She ended leaving him being that they could not talk on the phone. All messages were routed through her sister. Her sister is actually the one that told him to get lost. Some people told him to hire a PI to find her. He didn't apparently and called it quits with her. (Yeah what a jerk). |
