I spent yesterday doing my laundry and well I am just getting around to putting it away today. And as i am folding it i am noticing clothing missing! 2 pairs of capris, and 4 tops. One of those tops is MY WORK SHIRT! I just spent $40 on getting a new shirt for work and now it is GONE! I have to go into work tonight with out uniform. Who the hell steals a work shirt? 
I have NEVER had a problem with throwing my laundry in the washer or dryer in the laundry room and just leaving it. looks like now I am suck waiting in that hot room until it is ALL done. 
I think they are all there. Then again I have lost count to all the ones I have.

I'm working on it. So far they are coming out half frogs, half bunnies. I need more practice. That's good enough for what I need done.

You go to a laundry room? Need to get your own machines. 
Hard to do in a dorm or apartment complex. Another thing I hate is when some dum@zz decides to pull your stuff out of the washer and dump it on the floor and start washing their crap... Finding an apartment with a washer and dryer was one of the most important things for me when looking for a place. After college, I never, ever want to deal with sharing washers and dryers. |

I learned a long time ago to stay with my laundry in complexes, people just don't care what they do to people...hope your boss is understanding

My Mom did my laundry back in the day. And I didn't have to pay her either. She is so sweet.

I learned early on not to ever leave my laundry unattended, unless it's in my own home. When I used the laundry room at a nice apartment complex I lived in, I had just bought myself the first and only pair of leopard print underwear. Someone stole that pair out of the dryer, along with all my lint from the tray. They left all my other clothes alone. Talk about twisted.

Agreed it sucks to have any of your personal belongings taken, but whenever you have to use a shared laundry facility best bet is to stay close and not leave items in machines longer than necessary.
The next person waiting for machine may feel inconvenienced by having to remove your personal belongings. Glad those days are over for me. |
